So I was laid off this past summer and was in a quandry as to what to do. My husband suggested that I go back to school. To be perfectly honest, prior to being laid off, I had been feeling released of my job 2 weeks before I was actually laid off. I had been praying and felt that God was saying it was time to get back to school. I argued the fact that, I didn't know how I was going to do that, I have 3 kids in school and one at home. Who was going to take care of my daughter? My husband and I have always had the philosophy that it was our job to raise our kids, no one else's.... The day I was laid off, I was having the same argument and told God, well you are going to have to work it out for me because I can't figure it out for myself.
The following day was my regular day off. I spent the day online researching schools in the area and filling out forms online. That very night, the phone was ringing off the hook from different schools wanting to meet with me. The very first school to contact me was Brown Mackie College in Boise. After the meeting, I prayed about it and had so much peace that I knew that school was going to be the right fit for me .
